Firm Overview
Mather Economics is a business consultancy specializing in applied economics. Our work utilizes econometric analysis to develop implementable business solutions such as optimal pricing recommendations, suggested inventory levels, sales forecasts, and customer churn risk scores. We employ leading-edge econometric approaches to solve complex business problems, and we assist our clients as they implement these solutions to maximize operating margins, grow revenue, or lower costs. We help companies use their own data to develop and maintain competitive advantages by working smarter as well as harder.
Mather Economics also supports complex litigation through analysis of data to measure damages, estimate lost profits, or value intellectual property. We have supported attorneys through pretrial discovery, with the development of testimony, and with critiquing opposing expert testimony. We have a team of distinguished affiliated economists with significant experience testifying in court.
Mather Economics was founded in 2002, and we have a growing staff of professionals with years of experience working in industry, in academics, and as economic business consultants. We are determined to provide exceptional value to our clients through our high-quality and reasonably priced consulting services.
Work Philosophy
Mather Economics believes that solutions are not valuable unless they can be implemented effectively, the conclusions are accurate, and the results measurable. We believe economic analysis needs to combine the market expertise and institutional knowledge of our clients with sophisticated econometric modeling to provide truly valuable solutions. To ensure this occurs, we work collaboratively with our clients during an engagement either at their location or remotely.
Since 2002 we have worked with over 100 clients to develop insightful and compelling solutions to their business problems. Most of our clients retain Mather Economics for multiple engagements.
