Meet Russell Ramtahal
Hey everyone! My name is Russell Ramtahal. I am a Manager at Mather Economics and a member of the wine analytics team. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Economics as well as my Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University (Go ‘Noles)!
What I enjoy most about my job is the process of taking complex data and extracting actionable insights to answer complex business problems. See my bio.
Given the rising popularity of wine clubs and memberships, there’s no better time to start utilizing this data for robust subscription-based analytics.
Making Big Data work for Wine
The wine industry provides a plethora of opportunities to utilize data-driven solutions, particularly in the direct-to-consumer markets as many wineries are currently sitting on a wealth of consumer data. Given the rising popularity of wine clubs and memberships, there’s no better time to start utilizing this data for robust subscription-based analytics. Whether that be reducing member churn, reacquiring past customers, or finding out the best prices for an upcoming club release, my colleagues and I here at Mather have the econometric tools and subscription industry knowledge to get the job done.
Red Red Wine…🎵
When I’m not crunching the numbers for an upcoming release, I spend most of my time playing music around the Atlanta area with the band, Separate Checks, where I play keyboard (and keytar!!) and sing. If you are ever in need of some live music for your next tasting event, don’t hesitate to reach out! Our email is email@example.com.
