Luke Magerko

Luke Magerko leads Mather’s media data science practice, bringing a 360° consumer lens to every engagement. He specializes in uncovering customer behaviors, improving lifetime value, and identifying operational efficiencies that drive meaningful cost savings. As head of Mather’s operational team, Luke focuses on optimizing processes to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services for clients.

A seasoned data scientist, Luke has generated more than a quarter of a billion dollars in new business opportunities and cost savings across retail and media—spanning both traditional and digital environments.

Before joining Mather, Luke served as the lead data scientist for Hearst / CDS Global, where he built customer retention models and advanced marketing technology capabilities. He previously spent more than twelve years in marketing analytics roles at Meredith.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies from Aurora University and a Master’s degree in Quantitative Mathematics from Northwestern University.
