There’s an endless source of challenges which we can use data to overcome.  The insights provided by these analytics have a wide range of applications that can help us be better informed when making decisions.

Data is so much more than just numbers, it tells a story that helps us understand the world just a little bit better.  I’m particularly excited to work at Mather and to help clients answer the complicated business questions and visualize the impact of change and innovation.

Meet Isabelle Alzona…

My name is Isabelle Alzona and I majored in economics and minored in statistics at the University of Georgia.  I graduated from UGA in 2020 and then went on to complete my Masters in Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

What interests you about data?

I pursued economics because I felt it was one of the most creative analytical fields.  In economics, you try to find the answer to often broad and complex problems but how you go about solving it is up to you.  You have flexibility in how you approach each problem and there is no “one size fits all” method.  Because of this, each problem is a set of new challenges and you’re constantly learning.

Isabelle Alzona, Associate Consultant

What’s your favorite quote? “New knowledge is the most valuable commodity on earth.  The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become.” – Kurt Vonnegut

What’s on your bucket list? To visit all the major U.S. national parks, especially Arches National Park and Yellowstone.

Favorite cuisine: Thai food
